How did you get into the industry and what has your journey looked like thus far.
I have always been a very curious girl. Over the years I have had a few close friends enter the adult industry as companions, and I have always been eager to learn about their adventures. Over time, curiosity got the best of me and I decided to dive in. My time as Olivia has been beautiful, and I am so very thankful for the experiences I have had so far.
What are some of your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of being a companion, I spend a large amount of my time as a student working towards specific goals in my career path. I absolutely love learning and try to dedicate most of my time to exploring new ideas and subjects. When my student hat is taken for the day, I particularly enjoy staying as active as possible by either hiking, weightlifting, or yoga. Photography has also become one of my main loves in life. I have found that my camera has become my favorite and most adored extension of myself and I truly relish the moments that I get to spend capturing moments in time.
As sex workers, we face a number of challenges in our line of work. What is one issue you care about and how do you think your clients can help sex workers?
Basic human rights, especially those surrounding consensual sex work, are what I care about the most. Criminalizing voluntary and consensual sex is incompatible with a human’s right to autonomy of their body and privacy surrounding such. In short, a government should not be telling consenting adults how and who they can have sexual relations with. At the end of the day, clients can help by amplifying sex worker’s voices and participating in the fight to decriminalize sex work.
I saw on Twitter that you’re a bit of a bookworm. What are you reading right now and what do you like to read?
My reading preferences lean towards psychology and human sexuality. Currently on my nightstand - The Book of Humans by Adam Rutherford, The Use of Pleasure by Michael Foucault, and Little Birds by Anais Nin.
What is your one go to piece of advice for workers just starting out?
Set your boundaries, listen to your gut, and stay fully authentic to yourself.
What is your dream date?
I used to have ideas in my head about what the "perfect date" consisted of, but time and time again I am proven wrong. Instead, I would rather spend a day with the ideal lover than have the ideal date with the wrong lover. Whether we are making a picnic to enjoy at the park, hiking through Austin's various trails, exploring local museums, or enjoying a lovely meal together, my interest simply lies in spending time connecting with someone. It isn't often that we are able to take time to disconnect and enjoy one another's company without distractions.
What do you geek out on?
I am a self proclaimed nerd and fairly technical person, so my camera and it’s equipment are my favorite items to geek out over. I love learning about the intricacies of photography and getting the opportunity to capture moments that might not be otherwise. My camera is with me most of the time, and I am always looking for something spectacular to capture.
What is your favourite restaurant?
Picking just one would be far too difficult of a task, but here are a few of my favorites - Emmer&Rye, Swift’s Attic, La Traviata, Justine's Brasserie, Lenoir, Olamaie, Josephine House, Barley Swine, Eberly, Peche, and Geraldine's.
If I were going to buy you a drink, what would it be?
I am a sucker for a perfectly made old fashioned, with an extra cherry of course.
