Welcome back to our beloved sex worker interview series, A Tryst With... In this instalment we're speaking with Los Angeles Dominatrix Vyxsyn Von Vycious about KinkTok, Eartha Kitt, and the BNWO!
We’d love to know a little of your backstory—how did you get here and what do you do?
My name is Jax-Prince Sovereign Heaux—yes, that is in fact my real, legal name—and I’m one of the world’s most renowned Financial Dominatrices. I’m equally known by the sobriquet of Vyxsyn Von Vycious: “Vyxsyn” from my lifelong love of foxes (which I am often compared to, particularly when I smile), and “Vycious” as a way to inform people that I’m on the extreme end of the kink spectrum.
Castration. Kidnapping. Waterboarding. Bloodplay. The usual suspects.
All consensual, of course.
I revolutionized the kink side of TikTok (KinkTok) as the first, successful sex worker and Black Dominatrix to build a platform exploring sex work and kink from the perspective of someone who is not only Black, Trans, Queer, and Disabled, but also possesses a deep, generational background in Psychology and Sociology. I’m presently in school to become a Doctor of Psychology, while simultaneously juggling the pursuit of a double major PhD in Theatre.
I’m a working actress, voice actress, therapist, SuicideGirl, and successful content creator with a following of over 100k+, and over 30 million views to my content worldwide.

What looks different now than it did at the beginning of your journey?
My desperation to be married, have children, and “settle down” before forty.
Having been recovering at a domestic violence shelter for nearly the last two years has given me a deeply-needed perspective and lifeshift; I needed to break my greatest addiction—my addiction to love and being with someone at any cost.
I have no intention of dating—possibly, ever—again. I could have been miserable, married to these men, and especially mothering their children. I just can't see myself allowing myself to be “led” by some man, nor do I see any feasible reason to allow a man to call himself the head of my household. In the words of “Certified Bad Bitch”, Eartha Kitt, “For what?”
I prefer having 100 loyal clients who adore me and are happy to financially support me, than one supposedly loyal man to tie myself to who demands I change the very core of who I am.
I am meant to lead; not be led. I am meant to rule; in name and domain.

What are some skills you’ve developed through your time as a sex worker? What are their broader applications in the civvie world?
The overwhelming majority of civvies don’t know how to price themselves and their talents, much less how to negotiate properly for what they’re worth.
Another major thing I’ve learned in my days of whoring—and something I stress deeply to my students and anyone who wants to become a sex worker, but especially a Financial Dominatrix: earn how to say “No” to money. God abeg.
Is that $20,000 doing something you’re not fully committed to, nor comfortable with, worth twenty years of therapy that you may or may not survive?

What has being a sex worker taught you about yourself?
That despite how this society denies it, I, as a Black woman, femme, and nonman, have an historically inherent power over white men; the very same white men who’ll post slurs on Facebook, then turn around and pay me tens of thousands to call him a “worthless, white, MAGA maggot.”
Black women, femme, and nonmen sex workers have to deal with men of all races attempting to pay us a pittance compared to our non-Black counterparts because they feel we “aren’t worth more”. This is painfully true in sex work and in civvie life.
That said, if I’m going to be fetishized, run me my fucking reparations; I don’t deserve your pennies, but I do deserve your Pensions and Praise!

You’re Deaf and Autistic. What’s it like living at these intersections, and how do they influence your work?
During a Session, you’ll typically hear me say, “Say that again?”, “Sorry, one more time?”, “Oh, I missed that, could you repeat yourself” and many other variations of those phrases which emphasize—to put it ever-so eloquently—that I can’t hear for shit. As a result, lips are probably the only other thing I read as frequently as manga.
You’d be surprised at things you’re able to pick up on when people think you can’t hear them; particularly at a distance. So watch your mouth around me; I most certainly am.
What’s the most important thing that potential clients need to understand about you, your identity, and the experiences of Black sex workers?
Unless every potential Submissive reading this has been asleep at the wheel up until this very sentence, then my potential and future Subs know everything they need to know about myself, my identity, and the experiences of a Black sex worker.
Consider me a video game for veteran players and payers, and this interview as the Official Strategy Guide To The Vyllainous World Of Vyxsyn Von Vycious. However, I also have no problem working with new, vanilla players, and adjusting my user interface accordingly.

What brings you joy as a Black sex worker?
White, MAGA/Trump supporting men utilizing their fetishism of me (and for me) for my own, financial benefit. I love making a loud-and-proud Trumper pay me to “force” them to say things such as “Black Lives Matter”, or read—and wholeheartedly agree with—the works of Toni Morrison.
I don’t accept “tributes”. I do, however, accept reparations; particularly if you are a white man or non-Black man that seeks me out with full intention of having me weaponize and degrade you with my Blackness.
How do you bring your own personality and personal style to your kink work?
By showing up as me, myself, and I, and not some perceived persona from social media. When it comes to kink, I operate unlike any other Dominatrix, Black, or otherwise, I make my white/non-Black Subs read the works of Toni Morrison, Baldwin, and countless other Black activists, listen to Black music, have them say things such as “Black Lives Matter”, “Black Trans Lives Matter”, “I’m a subservient White cuck”, and so forth. In my presence, you will learn and respect the very essence of myself and my Blackness.
Another major way I bring my own personality to my work, is that I’m loudly open about the fact I’m a raging nerd. I’ve had grown men above the age of fifty cry in my arms while we discuss the deep, healing impact of the God of War remakes. I'll hold a Sub in my arms during aftercare, turn on Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist, or InuYasha, and we’ll watch until he’s sound asleep.
There's a reason so many of the games men enjoy are multiplayer; they simply want a genuine connection with other people by way of a mutually-shared interest.
What’s a fetish you love to explore with clients? Do you have any fetishes yourself?
Oh, absolutely BNWO: Black New World Order. 100% of my Submissives have this kink.
And no—not that nonsensical and frankly harmful “Queen of Spades” bullshit type of BNWO. Not the BNWO that’s making single white mothers to “mochachino” babies named Jaydeiygnyh, who grow up to fetishise white women calling them the (hard “R”) N-word during sex.
Never in my life or career have I ever tolerated anyone—especially a white or non-Black man/person—calling me the N-word to satisfy their race-play kink. Every Submissive that pays to grovel at my feet worships Black women, femmes, and nonmen, period. Full stop.
Something I always like to clarify when it comes to working with me as a Dominatrix is: “I don’t get fucked. I do the fucking.” 99% of my Submissives come to be bent over by me, and know never to expect penetrative sex from me, whether oral, anal, or vaginal—particularly as an Asexual (Demisexual) person.
You’re a therapist as well as a kink practitioner. How do these two professions collide?
I love this question every time I get it. I’ll stand ten toebeans on the fact that kink is 99% Psychology and 1% sex, but also that some of the greatest sex workers I’ve ever met have a background in Psychology, Sociology, and have a deeper understanding of the general human mind than most.
It doesn’t even have to be a “formal background” in these areas (though it helps); the best sex workers have an innate understanding of other human beings; and can easily infer a wealth of information from their clients with just a few words or non-verbal gestures.
You can learn this particular skill in school; whether that school is a Four-Year Accredited Graduate University, or The Institute of Bitch-I’m-In-These-Streets. Some of us have been studying this since childhood, having learned it in the homes and environments we grew up in, for better or for ill.

We’d love to know a little about you outside of work. What are your passions and special interests?
As previously mentioned, I’m a nerd, however, I’m also a multi-viral cosplayer, best known for my cosplays of Punk Storm from X-Men, Sailor Uranus (Haruka Tenoh) from Sailor Moon, and Christie Monteiro from Tekken.
Outside of cosplay, you can catch me chilling with my wonderful pets, my two-year-old doghter, a Pitbull/Australian Heeler mix, Futaba-Oracle Bandit, my angsty five-year-old catson, Lupin, and his younger-sister from a separate litter, Fujiko.
Some of my favorite video game titles/series include—but certainly aren’t limited to—Pokémon (I play competitively), Persona 5/R, and the Yakuza franchise.
What is one book you’d love for your clients to read?
It’s presently being illustrated, but if you’re looking for an original read, I highly recommend my very own shojo/josei manga, Hanakotoba: The Language of Flowers; historically the first ever shojo/josei manga to feature a Black transgender protagonist and a Japanese transgender protagonist as the central leads.
Follow my manga’s updates @HanakotobaManga on Instagram.
My favourite album is: The Persona 5/5R video game soundtrack.
A social cause I care about is: The systemic protection of Black girls and women in a system and society that cares little for us, despite appropriating and profiting off of our culture, creativity, brilliance, and resiliency.
I get a big thrill out of: Horror Video Games; especially Indie Horror Video Games (Five Nights at Freddy’s, Poppy’s Playtime, anything by Chilla’s Art, etc); I’m a huge fan of analyzing and theorizing on the hidden lore.
The makeup item/beauty item I swear by is: Long stiletto nails, my signature sew-in dreadlocks, a buzzed-and-blonde head, eyelash extensions, my tattoos, and my piercings.
We'll get along if: You aren’t a racist, misogynoiristic, homophobic, transphobic, and ableist piece-of-shit.
Oh, also if you can beat me in a Pokémon battle (video game, not the cards), or beat The Lion King on the Sega Genesis on your first try. No mods. No emulation.
