Big thanks to everyone that got in touch after my first Tryst.link Site Update last month! While it's tough to reply to every single email and message, I absolutely do read them all and pass along comments, information and suggestions to the rest of the Product team here at Tryst.link. Don’t stop letting me know what you love or hate about Tryst.link by sending me an email at chris@tryst.link!
May 2025 updates
We've heard from many of you that it's frustrating to have your profile change from unpublished to published unexpectedly after some interactions with our support team. This is a holdover from when Tryst.link was much smaller and providers wanted their profile published and live as soon as it was reviewed. As we've grown and a more diverse range of providers use Tryst.link, assuming a provider wants their profile live at all times is no longer appropriate. We've fixed that part of our support workflow and the status of your profile will be maintained after having support work on your account.
Speaking of profiles, we’ve improved how we handle website URLs and your handles for social media and fan sites. We’re incrementally adding better checks to ensure that the information you enter creates an accurate link to your profiles elsewhere. We've also tidied up website URL validation to ensure that anything we have a dedicated link for, like Instagram or OnlyFans, won’t show up separately as a website link.
More navigation improvements
A while ago we made some improvements to our navigation, making it easier to get to the most commonly used items. In our eternal quest to make Tryst.link the best we can, we are now rolling out further improvements to make the platform easier to get around! No more trying to work out what an icon means, or remembering where to go first to get somewhere else.
You should be able to get to what you need quickly and easily, without having to click/tap multiple times or drill down into multiple sub-menus for commonly used areas of the site. Here's a little preview of what to expect:
As Tryst.link has grown, an increasing number of pages found themselves tucked away inside other sections of the website, making it difficult to find what you need. These pages are now easier to reach and accessible directly from the main menu. We even made sure the Knowledge Base is easier to get to!
On mobile/smaller screen devices, you'll notice a new drawer-style menu. Tap the menu button to open a full-screen menu that gives you access to more tools and features, all in one easy-to-reach place.
Nothing has been removed from the navigation, but its position may have changed. It'll mess with your muscle memory a bit, but we are confident this modest but important change to Tryst.link will make using the site more efficient and easier to use for everyone.
These changes start rolling out soon!
As always, send me your thoughts and about the navigation changes or any other aspect of how you use Tryst.link! Fire up your email client and send a message to chris@tryst.link - I can't respond to every message but I will absolutely read them all.
