We all know that big institutions, such as banks and other financial institutions, regularly make life difficult for sex workers. This month, you may notice some changes to our payment page to help ensure you have a hassle-free experience when paying for TLC with a credit card. Please read on to find out what it’s all about. And, as always, remember that your friendly Customer Support team is only a message away.
New on the site this month
- If you’re one of the small number of users who’ve been having trouble with credit card payments on the site, you’ll now be able to optionally add billing address details. Banks and credit card providers sometimes require certain information to approve an online transaction. If you’ve been seeing a ‘3D Secure’ error when paying for TLC by credit card, you may wish to enter some of your address information, starting with just your zipcode, to see if this helps. Find out more in our Support Centre article.
- While you’re on our payments page, please consider filling out the financial discrimination survey that appears there! Doing so will help shed light on the ways in which providers are discriminated against by financial organisations.
Other improvements
- Viewing and saving your Emergency Recovery Code just got a little easier, thanks to some improved guidance on that page.
- Provider verification (and re-verification) now happens a little faster, we’ve improved our processes to make it smoother for everybody.
