This Disability Pride Month we practised what we preached
We know there is huge overlap between the disabled, the neurodiverse, and the sex working communities. The Tryst.link blog is run by disabled and neurodiverse sex workers – past and present – and we honour the work and contributions of our disabled and neurodiverse sex working peers. You’re amazing, and we love you.
This Disability Pride Month, the Tryst.link content team paused blog publication for one week in acknowledgement of our decreased capacity and increased need for rest. The pause saw us pay back some sleep debt and catch up on some admin and planning, and we’ve returned … well, not rejuvenated, but less on the brink of burnout than ever before.
As for everyone else on the Tryst.link team, they’ve been busy working to make changes and updates to the site to further empower your decision making around account access and security.
New on the site this month
- Join our beta program! We’ve made it possible for you to opt into being a member of our beta program from your account settings page. Members of the beta program get to see things we are working on early as well as be the first people we ask for feedback on things we are working on. Head to your account settings page and click the opt in button to join.
- Increased notification window on inactive accounts - We have increased the notification window that we have determined your account is inactive from 14 days to 45 days. This is to ensure that you have plenty of time to reactivate your account if you want to keep using it.. For more information about what happens when you stop using your account, you can read this Support Centre article.
Other improvements
- Improved recovery code instructions - your account only has one recovery code, so when you use it, that code is replaced with a new one that you need to save. We’ve improved the wording on this page to remind you to save the new code in a safe place.
