Want to get the most out of your profile on Tryst.link? Here’s a secret that many tech-savvy sex workers know: paying attention to your profile analytics is a great way to fine-tune your marketing and maximise the number of potential clients who check you out on the site.
Just like any website, Tryst.link keeps track of how many visitors come to the site over time along with other useful details such as what they look at, and what they click on. This information is called ‘web analytics’ and it’s very useful. Luckily, Tryst.link also provides a lot of this data to you, via the ‘Profile Analytics’ section on your account dashboard. If you’re determined to get the absolute most out of your online advertising – and you should be, because you deserve more clients, and better clients, yeah? – it's worth taking the time to understand this info. Here’s the low-down on what you’ll find, and why it matters.
In the analytics area of your dashboard, you'll see an array of numbers and charts that give you insight into how visitors to the Tryst.link website interact with your ad. If you’re new to this, you may worry that it’s going to be confusing, overwhelming, or technical, but if you take things one at a time, it’s actually pretty straightforward.
It’s worth noting that the data you see on your dashboard is 24 hours behind, due to the processing time required. I’d recommend checking back every week to ensure you get a complete picture of your profile’s performance.
Top-of-Page basics
Let’s start with the basics! Here are the key bits of information you see listed right at the top of your profile analytics dashboard.
Impressions - how many times your profile thumbnail is shown somewhere on Tryst.link. This includes search results, the ‘similar profiles’ section, category pages, and anywhere else on the site where your ad might appear for visitors.
Clicks - tells you how many times someone has clicked on your thumbnail to open your profile, once it was shown to them on Tryst (i.e: an impression). For example, if you have 100 clicks, that means your profile thumbnail was clicked 100 times in the past 30 days.
Click-through rate - the percentage of people who saw your thumbnail and clicked on it. If your thumbnail was shown to site visitors 1000 times and 50 people clicked to view your profile, your click-through rate would be 5%.
Note: Average click-through rates on the web are usually quite low compared to how often an ad appears. It’s normal for this figure to be in single digits.
Profile views - details how many people viewed your full profile page on Tryst.link. This metric is different from ‘Clicks’ because it also includes visitors who come to your ad via external links and web searches.
Photo views - lets you know how many times the photos on your profile have been viewed at full size by someone clicking on them.
Contact statistics
Now let’s look at your contact statistics. This list also appears near the top of your analytics page, and will tell you how many times someone has clicked to reveal, or followed to the destination a specific contact detail in the past 30 days. The contact detail stats listed are:
Contact Reveal Mobile - tells you how many times someone clicked the "reveal mobile" detail on your profile to view your phone number. Although this shows how many times someone has clicked to see your mobile number, it doesn't always correlate exactly to calls or bookings.
Contact: Mobile Click - This figure shows how many times someone clicked directly on your phone number link to contact that number. It's not always an accurate representation of how many people have contacted you, as someone might dial the number manually rather than tapping it. (Or, of course, they might start to call or message, then chicken out! We all know that happens sometimes too.)
Contact: Reveal Email - Similarly, ‘reveal email’ lists how many times a visitor to your profile clicked to see your email address.
Contact: [various social media sites] - For any other links you’ve listed on your profile, such as Instagram, OnlyFans, Twitter, or your own website – you’ll see how many times someone clicked each of these to visit them.
Thumbnail Impressions
(Basic membership or higher)
Now we get to an impressive-looking graph that shows your thumbnail impressions over time, for the last 30 days. It’s the same data as for the ‘Impressions’ item above, but with more information about when you had your thumbnail displayed the most on Tryst.link. If you hover over or tap a dot you can see a date and impression count.
You might notice changes to these figures when you change membership level or based on things going on in the areas you list such as holidays. The times listed here are for the UTC time zone, not your local time zone, so please keep that in mind if the timing of events or a weekend are spread across two days.
Profile views
(Basic membership or higher only)
Here’s another useful visualisation! ‘Profile views’ is the same data as is listed at the top of the page, but – you guessed it – displayed as a graph over time. If you’d like to know which days of the month visitors viewed your profile the most, this is what to look at.
Views by Location
(Basic membership or higher only)
This section will tell you the geographic location of the site visitors that view your profile.
If you are using multiple home bases or have tours active in the last 30 days, location information can help you get an idea of how many people in those places are checking out your profile. For some providers, location information can help identify areas of interest, especially in large markets like NYC or LA where the info can help you determine how many people beyond the default search radius are interested in travelling to you or proposing you travel to them.
Keep in mind that this isn't one-hundred-percent accurate, as it relies on trying to match the IP address of the user to a geographical location, which is an approximation at best. Accuracy can also be affected by people using VPNs to mask their true location, routing their connection through servers in different states in the USA, for example, or vice versa.
Photo Analytics
(Standard, Premium, and Premium+ memberships only)
Photos are incredibly important on Tryst.link as they’re the main driver of demand, so this means one of the most powerful pieces of information you can have is knowing how people are interacting with your photos.
You’ll only be able to see this bit if you have a Standard, Premium, or Premium+ account, but if you do, it’s well worth a look!
This section of the page shows statistics on how many impressions, views and clicks each of your photos receives across the entire Tryst.link website. The terms are very similar to the ones we’ve discussed above:
- Impressions - describes how many times a photo is shown as a thumbnail in a search result, category page, or other location on Tryst that isn't your profile.
- Clicks - shows how many times someone clicks one of the thumbnails for this photo. It can be an indicator of which photo thumbnails are more popular with potential clients.
- Views - tracks the number of times an image is viewed full-size on your profile. Changing the order that photos are shown to put the more popular images first may make your ad more effective. This information can also help you decide which photos to use as thumbnails.
Data is great! And it pays to use it.
Now that you've got an overview of all the statistics available for you on Tryst, what can you do with all this information?
Keeping an eye on your analytics gives you useful feedback and can help you make informed marketing decisions. Here are a few ways you can use this data:
- Getting feedback when you update your advertising - If you make a change to your profile text or tagline, for example, and it leads to more people revealing your mobile number, you’ll know you’ve made the right move!
- Choosing where to tour - Checking out where the majority of your profile visitors are from using the ‘views by location’ section can help you figure out which touring locations might be the most lucrative.
- Picking a popular profile thumbnail - As we already discussed above, photo analytics can be really useful for pinpointing your most successful advertising images. Or perhaps you could run a week-by-week trial of different profile thumbnails and track your click-through rate to see which works the best?

A smart marketer knows the value of data. Although it’s not perfect, and can’t be the only metric you use to track your success, having facts and figures can help steer you in the right direction when you make important decisions about how to present your brand and advertise your services.
