Tryst.link Update, Nov ‘22: Unified Navigation is Here

. 4 min read

Look at that, it's a fresh coat of paint! We've implemented a brand new navigation style that refreshes how it looks and improves consistency between mobile and desktop so you always know where that button you want is.

Plus, not only is it more consistent between mobile and desktop, it's also (finally!) consistent across the whole site. When you log in you'll now see the same navigation and have access to the same buttons in the same places, whether you are looking at your dashboard or search.

Our fresh new navigation layout with a unified design across the site.

You can expect to start seeing the new navigation appear shortly as we roll it out to all users. Next up: well, we can't tell you yet but a little birdie told me this is the first step in a lot of improvements to site usability that we hope to make Tryst.link even easier and more enjoyable to use.

New this month

  • Improved the information we share during the onboarding process to help ensure we can approve everyone in as few steps as possible.
  • Some behind the scenes improvements to categories to set the stage for some cool new features we have in the works.

Other changes

  • Fixed a bug that caused some users to see errors when attempting to access, add a profile to, or remove a profile from their favourites.
  • More graceful handling of changes to MFA to avoid confusing error messages. If you haven't enabled MFA yet now is the time to do it and protect your account.
  • Fixed some more typos, they sure do love to keep showing up! Come across one we've missed? Let us know.

In the community

There's loads going on in the community and we want to highlight some things each month in our release notes to help bring more awareness to them. Are you involved in an event or organisation, or know of one, we should highlight? Reach out and let us know!
