Tryst.link has grown enormously over the last 5 years. We want to ensure we can continue to build a sustainable platform that provides quality support and to continue doing the things we are most proud of, such as the TLC Donation Matching Program and supporting organisations that are pushing for the decriminalisation of sex work, we must raise our prices for the first time to cover increasing costs as well as inflation.
So what’s changing?
From March 6th 2023 UTC, new prices will apply to our Standard and Premium memberships and renewals of existing subscriptions.
We are modifying the inclusions of some of our memberships to better reflect their usage by the community and help ensure platform fairness. For those of you who have asked us for features like multi-city listings, we are also introducing a new Premium+ membership.
Our new membership options will be:

We know many of you may have questions about why we are making these changes and why they are happening now. We’ve put together an FAQ on this page to help answer them for you.

Why are you changing your prices now?
Affordability and accessibility is extremely important to us as such we have resisted raising our prices despite half a decade of platform growth, team growth, and inflation.
While we would like to continue with the current pricing model, there are a few core things which are preventing this:
- Ensuring the platform remains for and by sex workers: Tryst.link is a platform for sex workers by sex workers. When we launched the platform, we felt that it was important that our team not only reflect the community, but also the community’s values, and were compensated properly and treated fairly. We don’t believe in exploitative labour practices.
- Future expansion and the development of more features: We’ve heard your feedback loud and clear, we know that you’re still patiently waiting for a number of features, such as FMTY and the ability to list doubles partners. These price changes will also allow us to continually invest in developing the platform and rolling out these features.
What happens to my current membership on March 6th?
We will automatically migrate all users to the new membership tiers on March 6th, you don’t need to take any action to maintain your current tier other than ensure you have enough TLC to renew if you want to. For those on our Premium tier, your new tour allocation will take effect within 24 hours. If you have more than 10 tours added to your profile, only the first 10 will be used in search results, ordered by the starting date.
Why haven’t you increased the price for Basic?
From launch, access to the platform has been one of our core values. We understand that being able to advertise on a reputable and pro sex worker site like Tryst.link, for many, is incredibly important.
We have chosen to maintain the current price of Basic to ensure that the platform remains accessible to those who can’t afford our higher memberships while still gaining access to paid features and for those who are in less populated areas for who Basic offers good value.
I can’t afford these new membership prices
We understand that changing prices can change the value that membership offers you. This may mean that the membership you were on before is no longer the right one for you or that you may chose to only upgrade in the specific months where the additional features offer you something you need or want.
As always, we will continue to support our free Lite membership if you wish to no longer upgrade and continue to offer real human support to all of our users regardless of their membership level.
Why have you reduced the number of tours on the Premium membership?
When we first decided how many searchable tours each membership would get, we had to guess how we thought people would want to use the platform. As it turns out, the majority of our Premium users don’t add more than 10 searchable tours at once. We want our inclusions to represent the best possible value to all of our users and ensure people are only paying for what they need and want.
Why have you introduced Premium+?
The short answer is, you asked us for it over and over! In surveys, in emails, and on social you asked us to add a new membership that could have more specific inclusions. Combined with your requests, we reviewed how the existing Premium membership was used and identified that there are two core groups of Premium users: those who upgrade for premium search placement in their home base, and those who upgrade for greater touring visibility. Introducing Premium+ allows us to offer more suitable inclusions to both groups and ensure no one is paying for features they don’t actually use or gain value from.
One of the top requests we’ve had every time we have surveyed our users is multi-city listings, a feature we will be bringing to the platform for the first time on our new Premium+ membership. We have a lot of plans for expanding this feature and adding other highly requested features too.

We joke, but we can predict the future as well as the weather folks can predict the weather in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia), but we do know that the team have some big things planned, including features that you’ve been asking for and improving existing features based on your feedback.

We also commit to do an annual review of our memberships, rather than waiting another 5 years before anything changes. That doesn’t mean we will automatically increase them every year, it just means we will ensure that our memberships offer both the features and the value that our users are seeking.
