A Tryst With Victoria Escort Lexci Lust

Welcome back to our sex worker interview series 'A Tryst With...' In this instalment we're chatting with Victoria Escort Lexci Lust about writing, unlearning insecurities, and mentorship.

We’d love to know a little of your backstory – how did you get here and what do you do?

I started sex work in 2013, mostly trying to survive my late teens and early twenties and figure out who I was. Over time, it became something I chose with intention. Now I work as an independent companion, a writer, and a mentor. My work lives somewhere between intimacy, storytelling, and community support, and I’m very proud of the space I’ve built.

What did you find was a big learning curve for you when you started? Was there anything you took to like a duck to water?

Boundaries were my biggest learning curve. I had to learn how to trust my instincts, hold my limits, and be firm with my expectations in regards to respectful treatment from clients. I find the firmer I am with my clients and expectations, the better treatment I receive. What came naturally was reading energy, creating comfort, and helping people feel safe and wanted. That part has always felt intuitive.

What has sex work taught you about beauty standards?

Mainstream beauty standards never reflect real desires. All body types, genders, body capabilities, and ages (19+) are beautiful. There's a type for everyone, and everyone's got a type. Clients are drawn to warmth, personality, presence, and genuineness. It helped me unlearn a lot of insecurities and see beauty in a much wider and kinder way.

Do you find that there is a type of client who seeks you out, who you really enjoy seeing?

I tend to attract clients who appreciate softness with a little eccentricity, mostly thoughtful people who value connection, humour, and a sense of familiarity. I see a lot of creatives, blue collar workers, single dads, queer people, and couples. My favourites meet me with honesty and curiosity and are genuine and down to earth humans.

What has sex work taught you about yourself?

It’s shown me that I’m grounded, intuitive, and very good at holding space for others. I learned that I thrive when I’m building community, whether that’s through writing, mentoring, or connecting one-on-one. It also taught me that I’m stronger and more resilient than I knew.

What’s an aspect of being a sex worker that you really love?

What I love most is watching people soften. Clients often arrive nervous, and by the end they’re laughing and feeling human again. Creating that kind of calm, intimate space feels meaningful. I also love the autonomy this work gives me: the ability to set my own schedule, trust my instincts, and build a career on my own terms. Lastly, the community is a huge part of my heart. Sex workers are some of the strongest, funniest, and most resourceful people I’ve ever met. Mentoring and supporting each other, and sharing knowledge, makes the work feel bigger than me.

You write articles about sex work for The Georgia Straight in Vancouver. How did that come about? What do you love about writing on this topic?

The editor at the time reached out to me to write for the online blog, and after a few articles I was offered printed space. Writing gives me a chance to humanize our work, counter stereotypes, and tell stories that rarely get told with nuance. I love using my lived experience to add context, compassion, and a realistic narrative to public conversations about sex work.

You’re a mentor for fellow sex workers. How did you start mentoring and what does it bring to you and those you mentor?

I began mentoring in 2021. Before that, I regularly had other workers come to me for help with branding, booking safety, marketing, ad copy, and finding their niche. Over time, I formalized it because it felt natural to do so. Mentoring brings me a sense of purpose. Helping someone build their business, feel safer, or find their confidence is deeply rewarding. It creates community, which is everything in an industry that can be very isolating due to societal stigma.

You’re bisexual and offer services to women and couples. What do you love about seeing femme clients?

I love seeing women and femme clients because the energy just lands differently. Not better or deeper, it just has its own flavour. With femmes there’s this shared curiosity and a kind of gentle mirroring that feels really natural to me. We tend to settle into a slower pace together, noticing small details, and exploring in a way that's more mindful and intentional.

I’m always intuitive and communicative with everyone I see, but with women and femmes it often turns into a quiet and mutual softness. It’s a different kind of experience, one that feels tender, sensual, and a little bit magical in its own way.

What’s your favourite way to relax and recharge after a long week?

I love reading, slow mornings, and quiet walks with a coffee. Anything cozy and grounding that lets me drop back into my body and breathe. I’m a big believer in cozy solitude.

Do you have any hobbies or special interests? What do you do in your downtime?

I write a lot, both professionally and for pleasure. I love cooking, reading, and playing with graphic design projects. I’m also a bit of a branding nerd. Even in my downtime, I find myself sketching ideas or refining my marketing

The most exciting thing I have ever done is: I moved across the country alone and rebuilt my life from scratch when I was 23.

If you want to win my heart you must: Be honest, kind, and very generous with your affection.

My favourite work shoes are: Either my pink pumps, or bare footed with nylons on.

I feel most sexy when: I'm wined, dined, and 69'd.

A social cause I care about is: Educating the general public, and shutting down archaic stigma surrounding sex work.
