A Tryst With Chicago Escort Suki Jade

Thanks for joining us for our sex worker interview series, 'A Tryst With'. Today we talk with Chicago Escort Suki Jade about autism, fishing and mining in RPGs, and overcooked noodles!

CW: mention of suicidal ideation.

Can you tell us your ‘origin story’ as a sex worker?

I grew up very privileged in a lot of ways, my parents paid for my college education, but when I wanted extra cash I would have a sugar daddy here or there. When I graduated I realized working in an office made me super suicidal, so I started stripping. I have autism and hEDS, so standard jobs are difficult and often painful. Sex work really changed the game for me. The rest is history.

How many years are you into your journey, and how has the industry changed in that time?

10 years in. It’s definitely gotten more competitive and more business oriented since I started. Fansites started off as easy money, but have since become incredibly oversaturated. It’s much more work to earn the same buck, either online or in person. The strippers at my club always complained about how it used to be so busy, I’d assume that’s also gone downhill since I was a stripper. The fatphobia and racism of strip clubs still hasn’t changed though! XD

Has the increased reliance on social media impacted your feelings towards the job? What do you do to disconnect?

Yes, it’s like a constant reminder that I need to post and make content. I can’t check my Instagram or Twitter without feeling like I should be doing something to contribute to my income. I don’t get to disconnect often, my phone is always on me. Getting super stoned and playing video games counts, right? Sometimes I go out and touch grass but not often enough probably.

What’s an aspect of being a sex worker that you really love?

I love being able to give neurodivergent clients physical and emotional intimacy when they’ve never had a chance to experience that. I think everyone deserves that, and I like that I get to give them a memory they’ll cherish for life. Like, what if they tell their grandkids about me taking their virginity? How cute.

What’s something people should probably consider before they take the leap into becoming a sex worker?

Even if you hide your face there’s always a chance someone you know could find out. You have to be ok with that inevitability. And you have to be ok with a level of stigma you’ve probably never experienced before. Dating is 100 times more difficult. And you’ll see a side of society and men that you’ll probably wish you never had.

What is a sex tip you think most people should know?

When a girl is riding you, that doesn’t mean that you should just lay there like a limp rag. It makes it incredibly difficult to ride when you just sink into the bed. When I’m on the bottom, I’m flexing lots of muscles and using my hands and other bits to make my partner’s life easier and the experience more enjoyable for both of us, and you should do the same! It’s the biggest giveaway that someone doesn’t have experience if they just lay there like an overcooked noodle when I’m on top.

What’s it like being neurodivergent and a sex worker? Can you tell us about some of the positives and negatives?

Positives: my clientele are often also neurodivergent and it makes the experience more fun and relaxing for me. I feel I can be myself around my clients and it’s part of why they like me.

Negatives: I have sensory issues that come into play sometimes and I’m generally pretty sensitive to smells and tastes. I also catch myself oversharing pretty often which can be embarrassing.

Have you found a neurodivergent sex working community?

I find that most of the sex workers I interact with are also neurodivergent. I don’t necessarily have a group chat going with any but like 80% of the other workers I interact with on social media are neurodivergent in some way, shape, or form. It’s more like I found the sex worker community and that is also a neurodivergent community. It takes an interesting mind to do what we do.

If you have sensory issues, how do you deal with them as a sex worker?

I got very comfy setting and enforcing boundaries. I had to learn to be ok asking clients to wash, and even wash again if necessary. Certain parts of me become off limits sometimes if breath or body odor is bad and I don’t feel guilty enforcing those boundaries. I either protect myself from the triggers or I don’t do the work, and guys seem to understand – usually.

You’re a gamer! What was the game that first turned you into a gaming enthusiast? Why?

I think the first game I got SUPER into was probably OG Runescape. You’re telling me I can FISH and MINE the whole game if I want to? Sign me up, buddy. I never even had a paid account but I probably sunk a few hundred hours into that game when I first found it.

What are some of your other special interests?

I love music, I always get compliments from clients on my playlists and taste. I like powerlifting, I bench pressed 105 for the first time last year! And I LOVE food. Fancy food, cheap food, as long as it’s yummy, I’m into it. And I love trying new foods and new flavors. Chinese food is my fav though, since it’s what my mom always cooked for me.

My favorite lingerie brand/designer is: Thistle and Spire.

I’m weirdly attracted to: Nerds that are good at video games.

My biggest pet peeve is: Stinky anything, good smells only pls.

If you want to win my heart you must: Bring me champagne and an anime figurine.

My social handles are: @suki_jade on X, u/fatfemmebitch on Reddit, @the.suki.jade on Insta.
