Tryst.link Update August '23 | 2-step login is the best way to fight back against scammers!

As of the end of August, 2-step login is now mandatory for provider accounts on Tryst.link. If you haven’t set it up already, you’ll be prompted to do so the next time you sign in.

We’re really excited to see so many providers taking charge of their account security. If you’d like a hand with getting set up, please head on over to our Support Center or send us a ticket.

New on the site this month

2-step login is now mandatory for all new and existing providers.

At the start of August, 2-step login became mandatory for all new providers signing up to Tryst.link. At the end of August, 2-step login became mandatory for all providers on the platform. When you next log in to your account, you’ll be prompted to set up 2-step login (if you haven’t done so already!) For more information on how to set up 2-step login, head on over to our Support Centre.

We’ve done this so that you’ll be warned quickly if anyone unauthorised tries to get into your account. And remember: never share your emergency recovery code with anyone…it can be used to hack into your account, so you need to keep it safe! Learn how to view and store your emergency recovery code over at our Support Center.

We’ve updated the ‘View my verification info’ button on the account dashboard.

After we updated our button designs a few weeks ago, some providers were worried that the ‘Add verification info’ button meant they had to submit verification photos again. We’ve changed the button label to ‘View my verification info’ so it’s less confusing. Note: If you do need to update your verification info in any way, you’ll see an alert at the top of your dashboard.

Added a ‘renew’ button for subscriptions that don’t auto-renew.

We recently gave you the option to choose whether or not your subscription auto-renews. Now, providers who choose not to use auto-renewal can still schedule a one-off renewal to automatically extend their advertising for another month.

Other improvements

  • We had an error that caused some links to blog posts to stop working. This fix ensures that those blog links work again.
  • A couple of icons on the reporting pages went on a little trip and left some big gaps in their wake! But they’ve returned now and are safely back in their usual spots.
  • We’ve improved the appearance of buttons, along with some minor layout tweaks on account dashboard pages. Some of these improvements did cause some buttons to stop responding when clicked, but we’ve corrected this.
