Tryst.link Update, Sep ‘21: System Messages & More

Clearer system messages

We occasionally send messages to our users via the Tryst System account and wanted to make it even clearer when a message is officially from the Tryst Team and not from someone attempting to impersonate us. You'll now see a distinct sidebar and our logo for all offical messages.

Received a message from someone attempting to impersonate us? Let us know via by creating a new ticket with information so we can take action!

New this month

  • We added more fan sites to the profile, now in addition to Onlyfans you can list your AVN Stars, Fancentro, Fansly, Manyvids, Peach, and Pocket Stars.
  • All profiles now have a report button, allowing profiles to be reported for stolen content, impersonation, and policy violations. All reports are verified by a real person for validity before being acted upon.

Other changes

  • We've made it much clearer when a message comes from the Tryst System user, if the message isn't in the new system format then it isn't officially from Tryst. We will never ask for your password, payment details, or other personal information via a system message.
  • Having a valid email address is important for every Tryst user and so we are blocking attempts to sign up with a known disposable address.
  • Errors are being handled better for profile carousels so you're less likely see a carousel not load correctly.
  • Lots of system upgrades and improvements (sorry if you noticed any issues during deployments!)

There's loads going on in the community and we want to highlight some things each month in our release notes to help bring more awareness to them. Are you involved in an event or organisation, or know of one, we should highlight? Reach out and let us know!
