A Tryst With Sadistic Los Angeles Dominatrix Goddexx Vicious
My loves, have you missed me? I missed you. Welcome back to our worker interview series, A Tryst With! Today we're most blessed to chat with Los Angeles Dominatrix, Goddexx Vicious as they take us to church, talking supplication , subversion, submission and the meaning of worship.
How did you get into the industry and what does your journey look like so far?
I am at the outset of My Career as a Pro Dominatrix after spending My entire adult life as a lifestyle Domme and about two and a half years doing online SW. I possess an uncanny aptitude for seeing into the innermost vulnerability and most desperate longing of eager supplicants who crawl to Me seeking Ruin and Communion alike. Thus far, My journey looks like Me cutting my teeth and honing my skills to a razor’s edge as I gleefully discover all of the subtle and beautiful ways in which I truly come alive when I step into My power.
Tell us about someone you’re grateful for who has given you encouragement or support?
I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to my own Domme and Mentor. Under Her ownership and guidance, my Sex Work career has been assimilated into O/our power exchange dynamic. This journey together is such a beautifully creative, heartfelt collaboration that I feel so blessed to participate in. As I continue to grow as a Dominatrix, I also aspire to earn Her collar. My connection with Her is so deeply felt that I often profess that tears of gratitude are the lifeblood of O/our dynamic. She is the golden altar at the core of Creation upon which I have placed my still-beating heart. I am eternally Hers.
Becoming a kink professional requires a lot of training and hard-earned experience. Which of your BDSM skills are you proudest of?
I think I am perhaps the most proud not of any particular skill but of the ways in which I have worked so hard to perfect and expand my skill set. I am intensely proud of My masterful command of innovation, suggestion, perception and empathy in ways that benefit Me in this work. Where many new providers find themselves struggling to grasp the psychopathology of kink and paraphilia and implement this understanding in practice, or feel challenged by developing proficiency and ease in their roles as the Architects of Ordeal, I seem to possess an innate ability to deftly navigate these murky waters. I am therefore most proud of My ability to wield My intellect, My creativity, and My perception.
Do you take a particular spiritual or philosophical approach to BDSM? How does this influence your practice?
Absolutely. Despite the inclination towards ruthlessness and cruelty that informs My namesake, My approach to being a provider is rooted in an intensely devoted Spiritual Practice where BDSM - much like psychedelic sacrament, meditation, movement, and prayer- is the catalyst for altering consciousness and unlocking personal/magickal potential. I walk the Left-Hand Path, embracing light work and shadow work in my magickal practice in order to embody the tenet Solve et Coagula. This means that I have gone to great lengths to remake My Self, and have been irrevocably transmogrified by The Ordeal. So even when I am bringing a willing supplicant to the cusp of undoing, even when I am called upon to defile and degrade and humiliate, My approach remains highly focused, strongly intentioned, fully conscious, deeply mindful, and even somewhat service-oriented. I feel that the purest and most effective way for Me to facilitate these experiences is to hollow out the pith of self and step into the role that someone else needs Me to inhabit so that I can create and hold the sacred container that they require in order to access their authentic self. Essentially, to be a Dominatrix in My mind is to be a fixed point upon which a submissive may hinge their efforts to enter into union with who they really are. This may involve needing to heal and release things that do not serve them or it may involve having their personhood dismantled and defiled, bit by agonizing bit, so that they can be Remade whole.
What does the term ‘trauma-informed’ mean to you? Why is trauma-informed care so important in kink?
Being a Trauma-Informed provider essentially means intentionally cultivating awareness and sensitivity around the experience of trauma and the role that it may play in Our clients lives as they seek gratification for sexual urges and fantasies that are often driven by (or at least causally rooted in) abuse, assault, addiction, neglect, bullying, etc. Personally, I play on the edge (RACK, PRICK, CCCC), and endeavor to center harm reduction, even in situations where I am being asked to cause harm. I feel that it is important for BDSM providers to be trauma-informed in their practice, to make competent and compassionate assessments about the client’s level of awareness of the role that their personal history may be playing in their kinks and compulsions. I believe that trauma informed principles empower Us to build impeccable consent dialogue into Our pre-negotiation and scening as well as providing more effective aftercare. The territory that We as providers are playing in can be rife with emotional pitfalls for Us and Our clients, and it is gravely important that We know how to effectively navigate this challenging and sometimes volatile terrain without creating further harm. Done skillfully, a trauma informed approach can even lead to significant releases of stuck trauma and deep, lasting healing. A trauma informed approach is incredibly important for the safety and wellbeing of Our clients, even when clients specifically request that We hurt and harm and degrade and humiliate them. We have to know how to handle challenges in that space in order to avoid creating persistent, tangible harm.
What are your top three tips for nervous first-time clients?
1. Breathe. Take a step back to think about your goals and your intentions for your session, and the potential connection you are looking to build with a Domme. Recognize that there is a real person on the other side of “the slash” (D/s) and each of Us has Our own preferences, desires and goals with Our practice and for Our Subs. We are not a monolith, nor are we cold, automated “kink dispensers,” and we certainly aren’t eager to entertain someone who we can tell is already jerking off for free when they approach Us. Best to consider your approach strategically, especially if you are nervous.
2. Research. Understand that most Dommes have put an extensive amount of time and effort into building a strong online presence for your benefit. We are often very specific about how We prefer to be spoken to, approached, booked, and served. Many of Us require initial tribute as a show of respect for Our time and attention. Before you speak to Us at all, you should pour over Our online presence for answers to all of your questions, as We have likely already answered nearly every question you could possibly ask.
3. Approach. Think very carefully about what you really have to offer. There is no intrinsic value in saying, “Goddex, I don’t have any money but I will be your live-in house slave and let you fuck me and use me and do whatever you want to me whenever you want.” That is all about YOU. Nothing in that sentence considers My comfort, consent, needs, or desires beyond your own perversions. Understand that acting entitled to gratification of your submissive fantasies simply because you have them is a sure fire way to get yourself blocked and blacklisted. You must ALWAYS endeavor to act in a way that communicates your capacity for service, devotion, and generosity. Center the pleasure and abundance of the Domme you are looking to build a relationship with. Put your own needs aside and focus on how you can learn to anticipate the needs of the Domme you wish to serve. True submission is a life path where you constantly strive to perfect your ability to be of impeccable service. Ownership is earned.
4. (Bonus) Trust. Remember, We are highly skilled professionals, many of us with a tremendous amount of experience. If you’re struggling, if you’re nervous, speak up! Your Domme will likely know exactly how to help you navigate challenging emotions like anxiety so that you can have a truly unforgettable experience!
You’re an accomplished artist - can you tell us about the intersections of your art and your sex work?
I would love to! I am a dark visionary artist (think surreal, psychedelic cosmic+body horror) and a video DJ. I think My personal aesthetic as a Domme is informed by My affinity for the dark, the macabre, and the psychedelic. My artistic vision shows through in all of My content and the way that I present Myself, but it also plays a role in the way that I construct scenes. From ornate play piercing sessions to creating elaborate predicament bondage scenarios, there is so much room for Me to really explore the creative potential of this practice with the right subs! I am positively brimming with ideas to explore! I’d encourage new subs looking to get creative to book a longer session and challenge me to put together something truly bespoke! Imagine fully immersive sensory bombardment/hypno sessions with VR headsets and biofeedback that control violently psychedelic visuals! It’s all in the works. As I grow into My career, expect to see a lot of innovation from Me.
What’s your favorite book, movie, TV show, etc, on sex work?
I am saddened that so much media about sex work is presented through a sensationalist lens for the entertainment of a civilian audience with precious little care given to how the finished product will actually impact our community. Thriving In Sex Work by Lola Davina has been a wonderful guide on navigating this career path for me. As she states, this work really does necessitate a PhD in emotional intelligence. And though it’s not explicitly about sex work, David Cronenberg’s seminal masterpiece VIDEODROME is one of My favorite films. I feel that it is a profound meditation on the philosophical and spiritual implications of this media-saturated culture awash in all of that tantalizing sex and captivating violence, and how it will inevitably change us, our minds, even our bodies. Long Live The New Flesh.
Do you play music during your work? What are your top playlists, artists, or albums for setting the mood during sessions?
Oh babe, pass me that aux cable and call me the selekta! Prior to sex work, I spent years in residency with several large night clubs and event promotions groups doing visuals for an enormous roster of incredibly talented electronic music producers and DJ’s from all over the world! In that time, I cut My teeth as a tastemaker and got into the habit of listening to new music daily. On Spotify alone last year I checked out nearly 2000 new artists. Heavy in My Domme playlist rotation are Djent and Technical Death Metal acts like Meshuggah, Arsis, and Decapitated, 90’s-00’s metal like Nailbomb, Fear Factory, Coal Chamber, White Zombie, Slipknot, Deftones and Tool, and hard industrial like Bile and 3Teeth and Nine Inch Nails. What’s most important is that the vibe is tightly curated and that the music flows much like a true dj set. I really love using musical cues in scene to build in cooldown periods where the energy gradually builds over a few songs into an intense crescendo!
What’s an underrated piece of dungeon equipment that you absolutely love?
I’m not sure how underrated it actually is, but I do love a good single tail and a nice, heavy ratcheting mouth gag. I’m a big fan of more common items like clothes pegs and zip ties. And, if given the opportunity, I definitely enjoy some intense fear/implement play with My massive buck knife. But my most favorite piece of dungeon equipment? A spray bottle full of the appropriate cleaner/disinfectant, nitrile gloves and some paper towels. I like to keep things tidy. Catch Me always tidying up a bit during downtime at the dungeon where I work.
What’s your favorite way to relax and recharge after a long week?
I unwind by working in My garden, smoking some top shelf herb, maybe watching a couple tapes from My enormous VHS collection. I adore physical media, and I love making mix tapes on minidisc. I am always making art or dj’ing or doing visuals in my free time. I adore going to the movies and I really enjoy gaming, especially survival horror. (A good sub would buy Me a PS5 and make sure that I have every new Silent Hill title the second it is released, btw.) Apart from that, I unwind by doing yoga, meditation, and casting spells while I hang out with my snake. I’m an avid reader, and I’m always juggling a few good books too!
My favorite colors are: Black, Purple and Neon Green!
I’m weirdly attracted to: Scrambled basic cable porno from the 90s.
My ideal session would consist of: an incredibly elaborate audiovisual sensory bombardment scenario with subs who desperately want to be brainwashed and dronified into heaving, rutting, whimpering little pets for Me to have My wicked way with.
Something dangerous or exciting I want to try is: As a practitioner of RACK/PRICK, what one person might subjectively consider “dangerous” is just another day at work for Me; but the most exciting fantasy I have presently is conducting real-time double Domme sessions alongside my own Domme!
We'll get along if: you anticipate My needs and go out of your way to make My life better, easier, more luxurious.
A social cause I care about is: abolition of the carceral state + full decriminalization of sex work with a focus on provider autonomy + full decriminalization with a focus on prevention and harm reduction.
