A Tryst With Philadelphia Domme Freshie Juice

Time for our sex worker interview series, 'A Tryst With', and this week we're joined by Philadelphia Domme Freshie Juice. We chat about switching, hard kinks, and damsels in distress!

So you’re a Domme, how did you find your way here, and what has that been like for you?

I got my start many years ago as a freelance model via Model Mayhem and similar places. I booked a variety of shoots, including for fetish and bondage sites. I enjoyed it, and as I explored it more, I found that I enjoyed the role of the top or domme as well. Doing femdomme creates a lot of freedom for me in other places in my life, as well as giving me the strength to stand my ground and be that dominant goddess in other places too.

Is there something you didn't expect going into the industry?

I think I expected it to be very polarizing in a few different ways. In some ways it has been very freeing and in others very isolating. I think while it can introduce you to others who have similar thoughts, feelings, and experiences – and ideally they are people you can find comradery with – it’s very competitive and people can be cruel. Again, I’m grateful for the small circle I have that is really solid.

What’s one myth about professional BDSM that you’d like to bust?

You don’t need to have trauma to justify enjoying or liking hard kinks. It can just be a feeling and an action you enjoy, and if you have trauma you don’t have to paint the experiences with the same brush.

You specialise in bondage (amongst other things!) What draws you to it, and how have you developed your practise?

Bondage is a practice I’ve enjoyed for a very long time. I think having spent years as a bottom in rough BDSM and “damsel in distress” scenes gave me a really in depth view of how someone who is submitting to me is going to feel. It’s rare for me to do anything to anyone that I haven’t done to myself at least once. I’m drawn to BDSM and bondage because I enjoy the physical challenge of it, I enjoy the controlled helplessness, as well as how it looks. I love seeing how strong my body is in rope, and on the other hand seeing people enter subspace and enjoy that as well.

What’s a fetish you love to explore with clients? Do you have any fetishes yourself?

Clients who are open to letting me do sounding and CBT. Any sub who wants intense tape gags is also my kind of client. My personal fetishes are of course bondage, gags, pantyhose, surgical gloves, sounding, CBT, and blasphemy to name a few.

Do you have a pre or post session routine/ritual?

I always show up to my incall and make sure everything’s ready to go and light candles or incense to set the tone of the session. The beginning of the session is a brief chat before we begin. I always want to make sure we are on the same page, and I usually will reference their application form. At the end, I leave time to bring them out of whatever state I’ve put them into, then allow them to get cleaned up and leave. I immediately clean the space and make sure it’s ready for the next client. My personal come down time and rituals? That’s classified ;)

What is your favourite kink/bdsm hack?

Almost anything that exists can be used for BDSM in some way: rubber bands, zip ties, chopsticks there’s a lot of potential in the everyday object. I love that BDSM creates this space to be creative with what the body is capable of.

You’re a content creator! Could you walk us through your process for shooting porn?

I try my best to check performers profiles and sites to see if we would be a good match. There’s a lot of different ways to sell content online, and not all brands and methods cross over well. That's just one part. I also send people questions to see what their experience and expectations are. If I think it sounds like we’re on the same page, I ask for a phone call. If that goes well, we narrow down our interests and I send a script for them to approve or deny. If the scene requires fluid exchange we discuss our expectations, our release plans, and exchange paperwork.

Do you have a dream collaboration?

Every collaboration is my dream collaboration, I try to give 100% to every scene because I owe it to myself.

I know my content is mostly me topping women, but that’s me settling. I’d like to play the submissive role, and I’d like to be the damsel in distress. It’s not that I have a shortage of finding tops, I’ve had many talented and alluring dommes and tops offer to dominate me. I play my own bad guy, and the women in my scenes are a conduit for the role I’d rather be playing. Don’t get me wrong, I love being a top and I love being a Dominatrix, but I also love being a switch. There is nothing shameful about enjoying submission no matter who you are in life.

Social media is so important for sex work and content creation. What are some things you love and you hate about it?

While there are tons of very successful sexworkers with huge social media followings, there ARE absolutely in person and online workers who have very little and are very successful in their lanes. I’ve met in person only workers clearing 6 figures who have little to no presence at all, and 2 of the top 10 performers on Manyvids have less then 100k on twitter. Please note that is not shade to them if they read this, they are killing it on there! They’re just great examples of not needing to be “viral” to thrive.

What I love about social media is it can open you up to so many new ideas, fetishes and art you may not have come across otherwise.

What I don’t love is that it also opens you up to people good and BAD that you may not have come across otherwise. You have to have thick skin, unfortunately, because people will be determined to misunderstand you.

What’s it like to work around heavily moderated platforms like instagram? Have you had any experiences of censorship you’re comfortable sharing?

I’ve definitely been censored by platforms both in person and online. Instagram’s landscape has changed a lot over the last decade since its inception. I’ve been through multiple accounts on IG, and censorship has always been vague if not outright geared towards discrimination against sex workers, fat bodies (fat people are at a percentage more highly censored than skinny people), as well as trans and POC bodies as well.

While there are some obvious things not to post on IG, I’ve had portraits and fully clothed images reported as well. So I post whatever these days and accept I may lose the account.

How do you recharge or take a break when you’re not working? What do you like to do outside of work?

I love seeing art. Museums and galleries often feel like a palette cleanser for the world. Traveling is a huge passion of mine, as well as painting and drawing in my spare time. It’s hard not to give into hustle and grind culture, but to have longevity as a sex worker you have to take breaks – you can’t do sex work every single day, though online work makes it harder to have boundaries around labour. Korean spas or bath houses of any kind are basically my chicken soup, something about hot tubs and salt scrubs is so healing.

My favourite fetish brand/designer is: Bordelle lingerie, Tom Ford heels.
The way for a client to win me over is: Booking in 3-5 emails, following instructions and being absolutely stupid over Me.
My favorite everyday pleasure is: my morning coffee with my cats.
My greatest turn-on is: I love people who smell good and are constructive communicators (everyone can be a good listener, but not everyone can actually listen and respond in a constructive way.)
My favourite albums are: CTRL and SOS by SZA and Sin Miedos by Kaliuchi.
My social handles are: Twitter: @freshieisntcool, Instagram: @itsnotfreshiejuice, Fetlife: freshie juice, Bluesky: freshiejuice.bluesky
