Hi Roni! We’d love to know a little of your backstory. How did you get here and what do you do?

I got my start in traditional modeling. I modeled for a ton of wedding and fashion brands, then eventually branched into boudoir modeling when I was old enough to do so.

From there I tried nude modeling and I loved it. I did some porn (mostly solo and on the amateur side, but I might do some more mainstream stuff soon) and then started an Onlyfans. 

In-person just came hand in hand with porn work…personally, I prefer it.

What did you find was a big learning curve for you when you started in the industry? Was there anything you took to or excelled at right away?

All of the acronyms certainly had me confused in the beginning (pse, cim, gfe, and so on. I actually added a page to my meetronijames.com website that listed and defined all of them.) It took me a minute to figure them all out… I'm still constantly learning new ones. Visibility and marketing to new people is something I still have trouble with. How do you advertise what you’re doing when you can’t be obvious about it?

Besides that, I feel like all of it was super easy for me from the start. I enjoy meeting new people and I’d like to think I am easy to talk to and be around. I’ve had a lot of repeat clients and I always have fun with my in-person meetings.

What’s an aspect of being a sex worker that you really love?

As someone with several autoimmune diseases, normal 9 to 5 jobs are not something my body can handle.

In-person work gives me the ability to work (or not work) as I need to. I don't have to answer to anyone and I can set my own schedule and travel when I want to. It has given me the opportunity to focus on my health and my happiness.

I’ve had a lot of fun and I’ve met some very interesting and amazing people since I started.

What has sex work taught you about yourself?

It's taught me to be confident and comfortable with who I am, to value my time, not allow people to waste it, and to understand and appreciate my worth in all things. 

Do you find that there is a type of client who seeks you out, who you really enjoy seeing? 

I seem to get a lot of first-timers—people who have never hired an escort before. I'd like to think I'm easy to talk to as well as patient, which I think is the reason I get so many “new to this” clients.

I find that most people are very nervous and confused about how to approach a booking. Sometimes you’ve gotta walk them through the process, but it’s worth it. I've met so many interesting people from all over the world with so many different life experiences.

What’s your ideal session with a client?

I don’t know if I have an “ideal session.” To me, these meetings are all about the people that book me, so I work based on what they want to get out of our time together—any fantasies they might have, outfit or lingerie requests, fetishes, or things they might want to try. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and free to express themselves. Any session that achieves that is a great session to me.

Do you have a pre or post session routine/ritual?

I don’t know if it’s more of a checklist than a routine, but I have a list of things I do the day of a session: 

• Message to reconfirm the session
• Confirm any outfit requests and pick out an outfit
• Make sure my finger and toe nails are good
• Shave a few hours prior to my session
• Do my hair and makeup

You’re a content creator as well as an escort! How has your content career contributed to your escorting career? 

They both go hand in hand; the online stuff fuels the in person and the in person fuels the online. I’ve found that especially now with AI, doing both has helped to show that I’m “human”. 

Constantly posting, doing Onlyfans, and updating my personal website shows that my look is consistent and that I am real. This helps people who are looking to book feel more confident in their choice. 

It also gives me an opportunity to connect with those who have booked me in more ways than one. They can see me online and view my content in between bookings.

How do you add your own personality/personal touch to the content you create?

I actually just launched my own personal fansite, ronijames.com, where I customized and edited the design to fit my vision. I added an area for sexting, video calls, and audio calls. It’s run 100% by me! I’m very excited and proud of it.

Regardless of where you view my content (my website, Onlyfans, Fansly, ect), I try to make every video as high quality as possible. I spend a lot of time perfecting my set, choosing outfits and lingerie, lighting it just right, and shooting each one. I have my own studio with sets that I designed, so all of my new videos are filmed there. 

I think that my niche is the naughty librarian/school teacher vibe, so I’ve leaned into that more. I already have the glasses and my face looks kinda innocent (plus I was going to school to be a teacher pre-pandemic), so it fits me well.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work? What do you like to do in your downtime?

After building all of the bedroom sets in my warehouse, I’ve found that I really love designing and decorating, so I see myself doing more of that for fun in the future. I also do sublimation on tumblers, shirts, pens, ect when I have time (mostly using naked photos of me, lol). I designed my own trading cards with photos of me on them that I gave out at AVN (and I have a bunch more that I want to give away!)

I love being able to spend time with my pets. I have a dog (Norman), a cat (Smudge), and a guinea pig (Shadow.) 

I collect ViewMaster reels too, I’ve got over 800 of them: all of the National Parks and international cities. I love to look at them and see how monuments and historical sites have changed over the last several decades.

Do you have a favorite book, movie, TV show, etc, about or including sex work? 

I just watched Secret Diary of a Callgirl. I thought it was a fun show, not necessarily accurate (sooo much extra drama), but still a fun show to watch!

My favorite lingerie brand/designer is: Honey Birdette, Victoria's Secret, Bordelle.

My ultimate weakness is: Animals or any kind of dessert!

My favourite album is: Whatever’s on the radio, although I don’t like a lot of the new music that’s out now.

For me, the best part of sex is: The mutual connection.
